Jyuken eyed at Percieval with disgust, but decided to take Leonne's advice; biting each other's head off would definitly be stupid, seeing as how they were... "allies". Nonetheless, the rumors were true about Percival the Heartless, and personally Jyuken though he was quite freaky. So they set off eastward to wherever Leonne was leading Percival and himself.
Yet in his mind, Jyuken couldn't stop thinking about that flier. Ryohei was one of the first to know his family was killed, but how did he know Jyuken did it? Next to that, Jyuken did not attempt to kll his family, his entire family tried to kill him. Ryohei twisted his experience and Jyuken planned to send the pain back tenfold. He decided not to tell Leonne and most definetly not Percival, but it bugged his mind for the night.

Percival tried to restrain the urge to lash out at the boy eight years his junior. He didn't appreciate any sort of defiance, whether it was through words or expressions. If Percival didn't see fear in another's eyes, he knew they held anger and the will to rebel. Stomping over them was an annoying task. They poured forth endlessly from the anthills.
With a snide look, Percival scoffed and slowly guided Kyne through the forest. "Aren't you a killer, greenhorn? Mercenaries don't make a living out of attending tea parties. Knight, sellsword, raw recruit, once you stain your weapon, you're marked as a killer. Don't think so poorly of me and I'll do vice versa."
The arrogance that hid behind Percival's rumored cold demeanor was beginning to seep out. His true personality shone through only when he... Isn't that strange...? The boy and Leonne bring it out. Heh, now I can't bring myself to kill them. Not that I was going to in the first place, of course. Still, the girl reminds me of Christopher and the boy Roland. Maybe Salome...

Leonne looked over her shoulder and smirked. The two men fought like siblings. Ah, siblings - Leonne's brother used to lash out crudely like Percival did. She remembered him quite fondly, however. Usually the lashed were the ones who poked fun at Leonne. The overprotective brother was the role hers played.
She smiled lightly and twiddled her fingers on her sword hilt. The sun was sinking along the shoreline of grassy hills behind them. Leonne sighed, trying to see the ground against the pine trees' shadows. Flicker past, flicker by. The shadows danced like mischievous imps. Leonne let out a sigh of relief when she saw the torches on top of the town guardposts. She quickened her pace and laughed. "Lorral! We made it! Thank Tehthius. Thank you grand lord of the heavens!"

As Leonne thanked the god Tethtius, Jyuken stayed silent but was acutally quite relieved and excited inside. Lorral was a fine town, but primarily Lorral was reknown for its alchemical weaponary; in other words the blacksmith there only forged weapons that could only be used by alchemist, so it would completely suit him.
Jyuken took a quick look at Percival and decided, 'My sensei didn't teach me to hate, revolt, defy, or any of those types of qualites... maybe I should just put my previous outlook on Percival away and treat him like a normal person... or maybe a friend.'
On the other hand, Leonne and himself were on good terms from what he mustered. Even if she was a bit... different, at least there was nothing bad between them.

Leonne raced over to the guard towers and bowed. She grabbed her scabbard and held it out with both hands, bowing as an oath not to wield her weapon in town. It was an old custom, but it proved useful in earning a town's trust. The guards granted her passage and Leonne gestured for the others to follow.
She smiled and rushed ahead towards the inn, planning on booking two rooms for the night. "I'll catch up later. Stay close to Percival, Jyuken. He has more experience!" Leonne let out a series of laughs as she skipped off.

Jyuken stood offended. Within his head he said, 'T_T Man, she didn't have to say that...'
He followed Percival willingly while he did his buisness. Before going back to the inn Percival walked to many places, incuding the town square, the marketplace, the armory, etc...
The inn Leone had chosen was dead silent and quite creepy. As the two entered the room, Jyuken saw Leonne sitting by her bedside. He walked to the other bed and unpacked his belongs, resolving to sort the mess. He did this while Leonne and Percival were doing other things...

Percival rapped on the door lightly. Nobody answered. He rapped again and heard silence. A sly smirk crossed his face. Percival grabbed his new knife and inserted the tip through the crack between the door and wall. He sliced his blade down and heard iron crack against silver. The door swung open with the wind.
Percival scowled. Not only did Jyuken obtain the key from Leonne, but he hadn't bothered to answer the door either. He walked over to his bed and placed his belongings on the desk. He unbuttoned his jacket and stared out the window. A chain slipped down around his neck. He glanced at the locket and tapped at it with his index finger.
Percival glanced over at Jyuken and absent-mindedly stated, "Damned thing never opens."

Jyuken was asleep, simply asleep, nothing more. He thought he heard someone knock on the door, but didn't give it a second thought. Soon his lifeless mind whirlled into action.
Night dawned over Kizaya as Jyuken laid in bed, practicing his alchemy on a crystal. He was bathed in the moonlight as the crystal changed mass and density. Soon he heard creaking footsteps outside his door and two voices, but didn't give it a second thought. When he least expected it his wooden door was sent flying across his room and at the entrance was his twin brother, Salome. Salome, surrounded by a shiny red aura, carried his alchemist's sword, unsheathed and ready for assault. Jyuken asked, "Heya bro, why are you carrying your sword?" Suddenly Salome lunged at Jyuken and he just barely took his sword from his sheath, parried the attack, and stood up. "Wait, what are you doing idiot? You could kill me!" Salome ignored Jyuken's constant pleas to stop and continually sent blows to him who was only defending. "Salome, stop! STOP IT YOU BASTARD!" Unknowingly after parrying Jyuken sent his sword through Salome's chest. He dropped to the floor and lost his red aura.

Leonne wandered around boredly and noticed the door to her companions' room open. She walked inside and saw Jyuken fast asleep. Percival was busy staring at a locket of sorts around his neck while leaning against the bed frame. She walked closer and stared at the locket. "I know how to open that."
Without even waiting for Percival's consent, Leonne grasped the locket gently and reached for a key in her pocket. She inserted the small tool into the back of the locket and twisted clockwise gently. It clicked and the locket opened. "...odd, that picture looks familiar."

Percival looked at the picture and then at Leonne. He blinked and clutched his forehead in pain. Percival grabbed his locket and lurched forward as if stabbed through the chest. He heaved and coughed. His eyes widened and he grabbed both sides of his head. "What have I been doing? How many... how many have I killed since that day?! Chris, Borus, Roland... the three of them died due to their hands! I nearly lost my life as well. Salome betrayed us! He betrayed us and I was left to die alongside my brethren. I was useless..."
He jerked uncontrollably and looked back at Leonne. "Who are you, girl?! Answer me!"

Jyuken woke up screming, "NOOOOO!" He heaved with a stream of curses, unaware that Leonne was in the room too. When Jyuken looked up saw Percival with an open locket in his hands coughing and Jerking while Leonne was looking at Percival. Nervously he stammered "Um... a-am I bothering you tw-two or something? I just had a b-bad dream, so I'll be getting back to sl-sleep now. Good n-night."

Leonne stared at Jyuken for the longest time before returning her attention to Percival. "...I can't tell you what I know until you repent. If you learn the truth now, you'll be engulfed by a pain worse than failure. Then again, you've already had a taste of it. Regardless, you shall have what you seek as your payment. We must find the Pale Ash Amulet first." She sat down on Jyuken's bed simply because she didn't want to agitate the unstable knight. Quietly she waited for an answer.

Percival took a deep breath and let out a sigh. "Leonne. That's your name. Then these nightmares I have are memories and not dreams. Tell me, has anyone ever addressed you as Leon? Ever?" He took note of Leonne's determined silence. "...fine, it's your life at stake. Besides, it isn't top priority to learn what you know."
Percival rubbed his forehead and stared at Jyuken. "...rat."
"Borus, you rat! Away from my sister I say. Away!"
"Percival, it was a mere jest. Only a joke!"
I screcched back, "Joke? Flirting with my baby sister is a joke?!"
"Now, now. You two fight like chickens in the morning," Chris chuckled and grinned.
Borus clutched his chest. "Christopher, you wound me so!"
"It's Chris among us 'men'," Chris smiled and all of us could see that he was in fact a she.
I continued, "Very well. But anymore talk of marriage and it's off with your head, rat!"
"Whatever you say, errand boy."
"Why you-!"

Although he said he went to sleep, Jyuken actually stayed half awake and decided to listen to Leonne and Percival's conversation... which to him, made no sense at all. Repent? Truth? Faliure? What was Leonne talking about? From there on he felt, 'Something's amiss... I wonder what.'

Leonne grimaced and balled her hand into a fist. She slammed her hand down upon Jyuken's leg. "No eavesdropping! I'm an information dealer and I can notice those little things, fool. I know when you're faking something." Her eye twitched slightly annoyed.
Leonne shook her head and decided to take her leave. She shut the door and leaned against it. Leonne slumped down and murmured, "So his body decided to make him forget everything. Stress overcame him and now he has a severe case of amnesia. Even a new personality to boot! Dammit, that's just great. Now what do I need the amulet for if he's alive? Shall I continue this charade?"
